Chemical Peel

Chemical peels involve applying a mild acidic solution to the skin that exfoliates the upper layers of the skin.  Using Alpha Hydroxy Acids, which are naturally occurring organic carboxylic acids such as glycolic acid, a natural constituent of sugar cane juice and lactic acid, found in sour milk and tomato juice, is the mildest of the peel formulas and produces light peels for treatment of fine wrinkles, areas of dryness, uneven pigmentation and acne.
Alpha hydroxy acids can also be mixed with a facial wash or cram in lesser concentrations as part of a daily skin-care regimen to improve the skin's texture.

Deciding if chemical peel is right for you Chemical peel is most commonly performed for cosmetic reasons -- to enhance your appearance and your self confidence. Chemical peel may also remove pre-cancerous skin growths, soften acne facial scars and even control acne. In certain cases, health insurance may cover the peel procedure. Micro-Dermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is an incredible resurfacing technique used to reduce age spots, soften fine lines, and treat acne or other scars.  The result is smoother skin and  a more youthful appearance.  Very effective in a series with each week building on the previous week's treatment.  It is a mechanical peel that gently exfoliates the skin by using a stream of crystals and suction. After the microdermbrasion, a soothing-recovery mask will be applied to your face for rejuvenation.

Back Facial/De-stress Treatments

People often have trouble maintaining a skin care regimen for their backs since the back is notoriously hard to reach. With the assistance of back scrubbing shower tools, most people can keep their backs clean, reducing clogged pores and other skin problems. but it can be hard to moisturize the back or to treat dry skin and other irritation and sometimes unsightly conditions.  While the masque sit on the back, leg massage will be applied when the masque is working on the back.  

What about the summer months?  Is your back ready for that swimsuit?  Back facials also cleanse and exfoliates eliminating dry skin and aids in healing acne.  You will feel relaxed and refreshed after this wonderful treatment.

Typically, a back facial starts with hot steaming towels placed on the back which is designed to open the pores and soften the skin.  Our aesthetician may use various treatments such as and exfoliating scrub to remove dead skin from the back, or she may perform extractions on clogged pores.  After steaming and exfoliation, the back can be covered in a rich moisturizing mask to aid in releasing tension in the back.
